  • Never heard of Met-Art dot com. Will check out! 😀

  • Going into Uni this year thanks for the advice

  • That was true on so many levels !

  • I'm pretty sure the photo that was blurred out for Playboy was Jacksfilms wedding photo

  • I did Diploma in Mechanical Engineering. = Had ZERO girls in batch. Im doing Bacholer in Mechanical Engineering = Have ZERO girls in batch. Sad lyf. In life, My interaction with girls is So Less.. it's like' ERROR 404

  • I hated physics when i was in high school. Now i'm a 1st grade computer engineer but thanks to chegg now i don't hate it no more !

  • 0:09 *LAUGHS IN FREE MEXICAN EDUCATION*

  • 3:21 top right screen says "finding the will to go on" Bottom right top right says "where to buy hydraulic press"

  • I dig your videos bro🔥

  • That was very funny. But I really needed the real talk at the end

  • Ok does anyone have an actualy well explained video to like the COMPLEATE guide to applying for the college l, financial, minors and majors, etc ect etc. Im a junior and did not plan to go to college untill recently and i want a video that can just really explain EVERYTHING... Please help

  • The engineering bit is spot on

  • The UVic website is trash.

  • 0:50 is honestly true. I had a way harder time transitioning into college than I did actually taking the classes. Bioengineering major btw.

  • "If you can navigate the home page you're smart enough" never have words resonated with me so much, seriously the first time I was applying for university the fucking home page is like the most daunting thing ever. You just see all these links and drop downs leading you to pages that discuss things you're clueless about.

  • So I am studying political science and philosphy while casually planning to form a religious cult. I don't give a fuck anymore.

  • Can you make a guide about a college speedrun?

  • Studying to be a male nurse Epic win

  • 2:50 LMAO

  • Lmao 😭😂😂 engineering student here, accurate

  • Great tips, I'm going to university next year. Wish me luck.

  • Damn i am laughing and sad now.

  • My parents recently lectured me when they caught me watching this video and explained to me that "just because you'll have fun at a job that you willingly chose doesn't mean you'll make enough money...not to mention that not all business are essential, thus meaning that the job you have might not pay you enough to pay your bills"

  • My college is actually cheap than schooling. The amount my parents spent on my last 4 years of schooling is way more than my 5 year BS-MS degree.

  • "finding the will to go on" I can relate

  • I cant decide on which Major I want so should I just take a gap year? Also is the experience of going out of state worth it?

  • 2:50, hmm a programmer!

  • Well... I'm doin pre med and I'm a guy . 🙂

    • HA HAA, BUT HERE'S THE TWIST YOU ARE GAY

  • Man I didnt understand the engineering joke till I became a student :(

  • College is useless

  • You'll get a lot of sex - TRUE I'll get a lot of sex - MYTH *drum rolls*

  • 1:46 he made the other engineering student brown cz most engineering nerds are brown people lmao. this guy is soo racist and i love it in a way

  • Poor dog I liked my own commet how sad.

  • God damn I'm not even close to doing better like this. Maybe I should restart and pay again

  • « If you can navigate their website, you’re smart enough » is the most accurate thing I’ve ever heard about college

  • Apologies in advance for my broad stroke of an internet 2 cents but here it goes... Former HS teacher here (BA/ MA in liberal arts) who's now currently working in the private sector (corporate strategy/ product mgmt in tech). I can honestly say, having gone through a traditional college path (good ol' state college then fancy grad school) and really struggling at the beginning followed by "oh shit, I gotta graduate" panic coming along towards 1.5 - 2 years before graduation, I'd tell folks to be brutally honest about what you want to do and where you are academically at the time you're considering post-secondary Ed options... Ask yourself - did you struggle with your coursework in HS? (we're talking below 3.0 cumulative GPA here because academic soft/ hard skills are not something you pick up overnight) how much $$$ would your school cost (are you going to a state/city college or out of state private? Are you eligible for any scholarship?). If possible, I'd put my money on trying a semester with any local community college that you can credit transfer later and see how that goes first :) Does that fit your schedule? Is the workload manageable, would it be something that you think you can stick it out for another 3 to 4 years? Also, here in the US, military service is very much a viable option. But a couple of things to consider beforehand. If you have a learning disability / physical limitations/ or poor academic track record, or a general lack of goal-oriented focus, there's a strong chance that you may not get into the vocational specialty that you want or even successfully complete the vocational training military would provide after your basic training (training you receive while in service may act as upwards of 2 years of traditional college or an associates degree equivalent - which in turn really helps when you decide to go to college). Unfortunately, Univ/ College in the most developed world has been advertised as end all be all for the for close to half a century, and there are plenty of options out there (including great trades where you get to work with your hands & help people in so many different ways) but I do want to say that making these types of choices will help you become an "Adult" (if that's really a thing..) Cheers and best wishes to anyone at a stage in their life pondering about these decisions :D

  • “now, of course when people think of college, they think of college parties. So I’d always wondered what it would be like if I were invited to one.” FUCKING SAME

  • When it was time for me to go to college, I didn't know what job I wanted. So I went for mechanics since it covers maintenance, science, electrical, plumbing etc. That way I can potentially join multiple lines of work.

  • if (girlfriend == false) { switch.major; }

  • As a dude that went into the health/nursing field I can guarantee this - sex is a myth, the girls are way too stressed and tired to deal with anything. If you wanna bang, art/english/social work is the way to go.

  • There was a great point towards the end. Focus on skills that are uncommon *within* your field. An engineer who can write clearly and communicate effectively in a team setting will be an engineer who is WAY better at getting a job. Being an engineer who is especially good at math isn't special or interesting unless you are like the best in the world. Remember, you will eventually be competing with other people with a similar education. How do you stand out among THOSE people?

  • From a country where studies are paid by government: “If you can navigate their website, you’re smart enough”... more like "if you are willing to study 6-8 years engineering degree that should last only 5 years and you will not drop off after 1st year like 50% of the people then you're smart enough" :D

  • Yeeey! Nr. 4k!

  • Nr. 3999

  • I think not enough people realise how accurate this is

  • Why not go to college in a country that has free education

  • Who is starting uni?

  • Time to go commit self deltus when my college rejection letters come in :(

  • Oh my lord, yeah. If you can navigate UVic's website you're off to a good start XD

  • Oh man I’m in high school and I already say “what if I’m not smart enough for high school”

  • Lol looks like im becoming a nurse

  • The advices at the end really help tho tbh

  • Is 32 to old for University?

  • Wait, what's the difference between a college and university, first?

  • 3:48 "you can't get replaced by robots if you are the one making them" -A.I. students

  • Don’t go to college

  • As a biology major I can already smell unemployment

  • You were helpful until you swore.

    • Yea those scary words made him unhelpful 👿

  • Alex K

  • wh- i am a female trying to do computer science :0. Oh no.

  • That shot of him when he says he makes yt videos in his room... And in the Google it says "finding the will to go on"

  • WHY SO MUCH TRUTH!?!?! :D

  • 2:55 THAT IS LITERALLY MY NAME

    • well thats nice

  • *Means you fucked up* AHAHAHAHAHA

  • Fun fact, those people who handle the giant cranes that pull crates off ships make as much as your average engineer.

  • "making new friends" Laughs in covid

  • All the freshmen who watched this when it released just graduated

  • Who else is watching this and have now idea what you want to study at university?

  • this is so true for a medical student.

  • So Basically we're f*cked , even if we go or do not go to college ??

  • where to buy hydraulic press?

  • 2-3 hours of hw for each hour of lecture. Are you fucking kidding me? You basically want me to throw my whole young fun life away.

  • I laughed way too hard when I saw pornhub when he mentioned he makes youtube videos.

  • Never tell a language student (whatever the major) that you can learn it at a lang. school or that their major is already overcrowded or they need to study sth else but similar.

  • Yes IT programs have less girls .. but one of the perks is that all of those few girls are as socially akward as you :D

  • F* now I'm more confused

  • Thanks for the advice, now I just have to get rid of my anxiety attacks which came to life when I went through a traumatic experience in 4th grade, stress levels up but we have to communicate to make connections

  • People have so much illusions concerning university. If you have a serious topic like physics or something. Its not out of coincidence that 80% fail,

  • i am confused about this channel

  • Guys..is anybody failing their courses in the major they choose based on their interests?? I am failing all my engineering courses and i dont know what to do any more.nothing makes sense. I try hard but i dont get enough reward for that extra work i do. I skip hangouts with my friends sometimes to study and nevertheless its like am doing nothing!

    • NSP Tech Mechatronics engineering. If you considering getting into it pls dont get discouraged by this comment

    • Can I know the Engineering branch that you have taken?

  • Alex K could mean Alex Karev who is a dude who’s a doctor (in greys anatomy) so don’t get exited.

  • sir the wisdom in your videos are truly understated. some advices are absolute gospels.

  • jajajaja as a computer science student, this just made me laugh.... an then cry myslef to sleep :,(

  • the computer science bit hit a bit too close to home

  • Is CORPSE your secret alter ego?

  • Remember kids there is a place and a time for everything and it's college!

  • "If your smart enough to navigate their website, your smart enough for this" Ah yes, that's how I ended up in the military.

    • @Aliyeh that's the joke Damn I might be technically stupid but at least I'm not socially stupid, amiright?

    • U didn't know how to navigate the website 😂😂

  • I don’t even need to watch this video and I still did for some reason.

  • i love how you don't ask for likes or subscribers

  • its gonna be a disappointment for everyone in my computer science course when they find out im a lesbian

  • But being a teacher is neither fun nor high paying

  • Dude, did you go to UVic or it's just a stock image?

  • this video did not prepare me, a freshman in 2020, for college

  • Very expensive *laughs in German*

  • Mmm thanks for the advice

  • My job's right in the middle of that slider. As far away as it can be of both fan money making.

  • Fck I should have watched this 4 years ago before I got my degree...

  • guide actually helpful Myth (last part is still true tho) . . . . . things don't go the same in every country

  • 26 more years till everyone is as obsolete as me

  • I wish I would've seen this before starting uni two times and dropping off
